I have built a number of titanium wood stoves over the past year or so. I'd love to make one as nice as the bushbuddy, but the manufacturing involved in such a product is above and beyond what I am capable of. I did make a smaller titanium bushbuddy, but found that it wasn't working any better then my single wall burner, so I scrapped the idea.
This is my collapsible wood stove. A simple bellowed windscreen with some notches cut in the sides for a floor to fit into. This is a good design in that it will fit into a small pot but I found that you have to really tend the fire to get a rolling boil.
Description: This 2 piece titanium stove is made from 0.005" thick titanium sheet. The walls are formed in an accordian shape in order to allow it to collapse and fit inside the stove. Notches are cut out of the body in order to slide the floor into. This allows the stove to be used wothout scarring the ground.
Weight: 0.64 oz (18 grams).
Notes: This stove is simple for anyone to make. All you need is a pair of scissors to cut the sheet with. Various versions and improvments could easily be implemented.
